The AW25 is here and brings the perfect reason for a fresh new look. Makeup artists from London, Paris, Milan and New York have once again created a blueprint for autumn styles with looks that inspire creativity, drama and personality. To get excited, count down five outstanding makeup trends straight from the catwalk to inspire the seasonal glow.

Statement Wing

The look of the eyes this season is all about graphic impact, and the Chanel look is inspirational. Peter Phillips’ exaggerated winged liner was created with strands brushed to look like cartoon lashes, boldly frowned, paired with polished complexion and gorgeous pink lips, and was a highlight of AW25 Paris Fashion Week. The Chanel model wore a headband and a bow, but the eyebrow brushing graphic liner became the main focus.

Merlo Rush

If the graphic liner is not for you, I have the perfect subtle eye trend choice. Victoria Beckham’s London Show brought classic mascara to new territory, featuring a subtle flash of Merlot on soft, finished skin. Makeup Pro Lucia Pikagave models bright and perfect skin and applies the perfect glaze to your lips to give you a crisp look. Merlot Lashes is the ultimate AW twist. Unexpected, it’s completely wearable with just a flick of mascara that blends with the wine along the eyelashes above.

Burgundy lips

The AW25 runways in Milan and Paris have made Gothic Burgundy a lip shade of “it” of the season. The Versace show features saturated wine shades in a velvet-like finish for an elegant, modern edge. The model wore deep berry or oxblood lips on clean, naked skin to maintain balance. To try out the look, choose a matte burgundy lipstick, keeping the edges crisp and adding a hint of gloss for a fresh effect. This dramatic lip trend is perfect for the night, but you can also add instant polish to your daytime exterior.

Carved blush

Blush played starring roles in shows such as Annie’s Ibiza and Chloé. The makeup artist has released a contouring voice that evokes the sparkle of the Renaissance. The shades were boldly swept through cheekbones and temple areas, from rich berries to warm peaches, giving them natural colours. The sculpted blush not only lifts the face, but also gives it a healthy and flushed look even in the cooler months. For AW25, it blends a cream and powder deeply pigmented on the face and accepts dramatic arrangement.

Ombre & Collision Lip Liner

Avant-garde lip liner has been making a comeback this season. The Vivienne Westwood AW25 show played the graphic liner with contrasting statements, with bold black or brown outlines around the vivid red creating a “number-by-number” effect. This playful, eye-catching lip artistry makes a big fashion statement. Wearable? Perhaps not, but prepare your party season by darkening one shade over a lip liner or choosing a nude and brown shade that is suitable for the 90s.
