Keto Hot Dog Bread Recipe
Summer time is all about convenience and stress-free cooking!
Grills, pool parties, beaches and barbecue parties are easy to enjoy outside.
And homemade keto burger breads and low-carb hot dog breads are just one of my favorites of this time of year.

Nitrate-free hot dog
I can’t say I’m a hot dog lover, but I can say I’m in the mood for a hot dog once in a while.
I prefer to buy the cleanest hot dogs possible, if possible, if you can’t add nitrates or sugar. The brand I often buy is Applegate.
My post today isn’t what hot dogs are shaking your world, but it’s about what you’re putting that hot dog.

Traditional hot dog bread carbs
According to App Cronometer, one regular 6-inch white powder hot dog pan has 21.6 grams of total carbs!!
That’s too much for people on a keto diet, as many people eat all day! If you are looking at your carbohydrate intake and blood sugar levels, it’s not something you eat.
Keto Hot Dog Bread recipes only have 1 gram of carbohydrates in total for each bread. All nutritional information can be found at the bottom of this page on printable recipe cards.

Cloud Pan Loaf Fresh
I changed my Cloud-Pan recipe to hamburger bread, and it was a huge success. So why not put my bread in a low carb hot dog roll in heaven and show it’s easy?
Use oven-safe cardboard. I had these in the cupboard, so that’s what I used.
I cut them out and used them for the slit in the center of each hot dog, splitting the batter in half in five sections on each side of the bread.

Disposable paper pan

From the photo, once it comes out of the oven, shrink some, but you don’t have to worry about it being tasty yet!
Simply slice it around the cardboard and they are the center slits of each bread.

Slice it into 10 rolls and you’re almost done. The magic happens when you turn these brown in a frying pan!
Grease the pan into avocado oil or cook using a cooking spray of olive oil or coconut oil until golden on each side.

Simple recipes for keto hot dog bread
I mean it’s still a low carb cloud bread, but hey, when you feel like a hot dog in bread, it’s a pretty good bread-like texture! You can also use this same recipe to make it a keto burger bread recipe.
It’s a great way to enjoy low-carb hot dogs on bread every time you want your next cookout! I continued to refrigerate mine and reheat them for the next few days that we had hoped for.
Even the kids loved them!

What do you think? They pass the pretty good looking low carb hot dog bread.

Preheat the oven to 300°F.
Using an electric hand mixer, place the egg whites in a stand mixer or a large bowl and whip cream with tartare and whip until it reaches a hard peak. Please put it aside.
Place the remaining egg yolks together with the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Fold a small amount of whipped egg whites into the egg yolk mixture and fold it in small portions until everything is incorporated.
Cut the cardboard into pieces about 3 inches long, as the slit in the center resembles a slice of a hot dog roll.
Place it halfway through the batter to the bottom. Divide the batter in half using 5 baking tiered board liners on one side of the plate, 5 on one side of the plate, 5 in the other half of the plate.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the center toothpick and skewer sticks are clean.
Allow completely to cool before removing the cardboard section. Using a sharp knife, work around the cardboard box and slowly lift them up.
Slice into approximately 1 inch hot dog rolls on each side of the central slice made from cardboard.
Place them on a baking sheet and heat the pan with butter or cooking spray to brown both sides of the hot dog roll.
