Lavender helps to cleanse, reduce inflammation and relieve pain while making the skin smell absolutely fantastic. Combined with a simple liquid soap recipe, you’ll find a powerful yet moisturizing soap in your hands. Today we’re going to whip this batch of lavender liquid soap quickly!
As for my garden, the function usually comes first than beauty. But in many cases you are lucky to get both. That’s exactly how I feel about one of my favorite herbs and flowers… Lavender!
And I’m not the only one. Most people around the world agree that lavender and beauty go together. Lavender is one of the amazing herbs for the skin. So you can see that it is listed under the ingredients list for many products.
But what about soap? Whenever you notice that you’re washing your hands repeatedly (this is what we’re all these days), it’s very important to bring that moisture back to your skin.
Dry skin is not uncomfortable. It also breaks down protective barriers for the skin. When our skin breaks, it becomes more likely to cut, rash, pain, and tug cuticles. All of these provide an entrance to bacteria.
This lavender hand soap is made with gentle Castile soap and moisturizing oils that help soften the skin. For the extra pep, I also included lime essential oil in my recipe!
I’ll cover this post…

Benefits of cleansing with lavender soap
Many people admire lavender for its scent alone. But behind the magic of aromatherapy is one powerful herb. Since I use lavender essential oils in this soap recipe, I want to explore all the reasons why I love using lavender on my skin.
Thanks to its antibacterial properties, it is perfect for preventing and healing acne by killing bacteria. It removes pores and reduces the painful inflammation associated with burning red acne.
As it is non-comedogenic, it must not cause any more clogged pores. You can think of this soap primarily for your hands, but you can also use it on the body and face for acne breakouts.
Its anti-inflammatory properties, suitable for soothing acne, work incredible elsewhere too. Reduces redness and irritation that can arise from dry skin such as eczema and psoriasis. Its pain-relieving and numbing effect is useful for all kinds of angry inflamed skin.
And yes, it has a lot of antioxidants that can protect your skin from free radicals that cause thin lines (compounds that can cause harm when in large quantities). Lavender essential oils reduce discoloration and even skin tone.
Overall, lavender acts as a better cleansing agent than you find skin. It’s not wrong to add touches to the soap for your hands, body and face.

Lavender liquid soap preparation
This DIY lavender soap requires several ingredients and takes less than 5 minutes to make. As a liquid soap, it works well with soap dispensers, but can also be used for the body and cooking.
For my recipe, I also added a hint of lime as I love the skin it adds along with the flower lavender. Please feel free to contact us with lavender soap and lime essential oils.

Unpurified water can be a place that is too gentle for bacteria. Use only distilled water or only water before using this recipe.
To create this lavender soap recipe, add all the ingredients together to a glass beaker or pour them directly into a soap pump using a funnel.
The oil and water are naturally separated, so you should shake the soap well before using it. The more you use it, the less shaking will occur. This soap is suitable for up to 3 months.

Frequently Asked Questions about Lavender Liquid Soap
Fresh lavender cannot be put directly into the soap. Dried fresh flowers turn brown due to the saponification process of cold process soap. I’ve used soap-dried lavender bads before, but after a few months it turns brown. Adding purple dye to the soap can help to hide the discoloration. Otherwise, you can replace the lavender buds with cornflower petals.
However, most liquid soaps contain nothing, as flowers and other solids can block the dispenser. For liquid soaps, fresh lavender can be utilized by infusing herbs into olive oil. Add 1 tablespoon of infused olive oil and the soap will moisturize your hands during the cleaning.
Adding some liquid oils will make the liquid soap a little more moisturizing and friendly. Add 1 tablespoon for each glass of liquid soap. We recommend olive oil, almond oil and avocado oil.
surely! You can add any type of essential oil to your soap. Start with a few drops as you can go a little bit. Add 10 drops of essential oils for every 2 cups (500 ml). Choose the scent you like the most, and you can easily change the scent of your soap.

Once you start creating your own lavender liquid soap, try not to stop. This recipe is easy and can really save you money over time. Please let us know in the comments how it works for you!
