Summer Recipe: Fig Salad

Summer Recipe: Fig Salad

If you have a copy of my book, then Eat Beautiful copies know that my skin-first beauty approach includes a diet packed with fresh, healthy seasonal foods. But being healthy doesn’t have to mean boring or bland. So, I love to highlight the most nutritious (and tasty) hero food of the season, so I can switch things up every few months. Summer is the perfect time to add figs to your diet. They are full of fiber, so they help to quickly flush the system and detoxify the skin. This means it’s best if you have psoriasis, acne, or other skin conditions. It also adds a natural sweet touch to your dishes, creating a healthier alternative to processed sugars. Did it sell?
