When summer comes, flowers in the garden

My eyes have been trained on trees recently. However, the garden has caught my eye as it moves to early summer blooming. Here are some recent photos from the garden sucking out. It is a purple skull in a driveway bed and looks energized.

The soap aloe features candelabra flowers towering by the pool.

Peanut cactus (Echinopsis chamaecereus) pumps nuclear orange flowers.

ka-pow! I recently shared this piece with some friends and they are all in bloom.

A talented new pink Jerusalem sage from Willie (exciting!) has released one pink flower this spring.

The gopher plant in a bowl of steel went beautifully to the seeds…

…It looks a bit like a hajira flower.

In the hanging planters, the “coppertone” sedum is set alongside the mangaves of the turquoise “bloodspot.”
