A secret to kicking a great day? A delicious breakfast with high nutritional value, filling. I try to put fruit in every breakfast I make and berries are one of the most antioxidant ways to do it. One of my go-to breakfast mix? blueberry! Fresh or frozen blueberries pack a serious punch when it comes to flavor and nutrients.

There’s nothing like the sun ripe berries, but it doesn’t have to be the peak of summer to enjoy blueberries. I love the little frozen wild blueberries I get from Whole Foods. Throw it into smoothies, oatmeal or frozen cereal and add it to your smoothies! They are very small and thaw quickly.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a muffin can with liner/parchment paper or butter or oil grease.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, whisk whole wheat flour, oats, baking powder and cinnamon together.
