It’s not easy to see the look of a festival, especially when it comes to hair. If you’re camping, you won’t have easy access to the shower (or actually want to use), and you’ll probably want to get your hair out of your face, but tight top knots aren’t the most fun style you can choose from. 4 Festival Hair Try it this summer
Fishtail Blade
Braids and festival hair go hand in hand, but you might want something a little exciting for your standard French braid or your look. Fishtail blades are a great option. Because, although it looks very complicated, it’s actually really easy to do it yourself, so you’re using only two strands rather than three. The easiest way to figure out this style is to practice along with YouTube tutorials like this, but don’t forget to clean your hair on one side and stuff some bobby pins to secure a flyaway.
Award accessories
Flowercrowns are way too much to resort to in the festival season, so think more about festival hair look accessories. Taking inspiration from Versace’s SS22 Runway Show, we’ll start with vibrantly colored silk scarves, and add fresh and silk flowers and statement accessories. Rope Blade
Another gorgeous braid for this season is the rope blade. My friend Neil Moody has an amazing YouTube tutorial on his channel. This explains how to create a truly cool festival hairstyle that combines Dutch braids and rope braids. Dutch braids keep your hair safer (and weather resistant) than simple twisted rope blades, making them perfect for long days of outdoor fun.
