Hiiiiii! Happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? It’s rained a lot this week, so we’re enjoying pool time. The pilots are home (wow!) and there are NCL events. I hope you had a fun and relaxing weekend! When will your child go back to school? I can’t believe it’s only a little over a week away. Liv is planning to enter high school. how? !

(Gorgeous flowers from Trader Joe’s this week. It only cost me $15 to put together the entire bouquet.)
It’s time for our Friday Favorites Roundup! Here we share some of our favorites from the week and around the web. I love hearing about your favorites too, so give your favorites a shout out in the comments section below.

Fashion, beauty, random:
A trip to Orlando! Last weekend we headed to Orlando to visit a friend who lives in Seville. They will be in Florida for a month, so it was my only chance to see them before school starts. The funny thing about a pilot’s family life is that they can decide to go on a trip at the last minute if there’s a seat available. We went back and forth between options and decided we could make it happen 36 hours before arriving in Orlando.

(I am so grateful that our children chose each other to be their best buddies and soulmates when they were two and a half years old)
Every time we saw them, we picked up where we left off and the girls had the best time together. We stayed at a hotel with a great pool and lazy river, spent a day at Epcot, Disney Springs, had dinner at Medieval Times, and just enjoyed being together. It was a 5-day trip, but we packed so much fun into that time. It was perfect.

It’s worth mentioning here that Epcot was the best. We haven’t been in years since we usually choose Animal Kingdom or Disney World, but we really enjoyed the food, the rides (Test Track and Ratatouille were amazing, the kids were obsessed with Figment), and the slower pace. It didn’t feel as crowded or chaotic as other parks, and the fireworks show was great.

I would also recommend two 10/10 meals for my gluten-free friends.
(I booked last minute so I didn’t have time to plan like I usually do, but I found this Instagram page and she had so many options for my girlfriend!! I booked the meal while I was on the plane and peeking at her page)
Chef de France at Epcot. They were very knowledgeable about her options and even brought girlfriend bread to the table for me and P.

And the children’s chocolate mousse was very delicious.

Japanese shaved ice is also GF, so it’s necessary. (There’s coconut cream on top!)

(I applied my one-day press-on nails upside down, haha. As you can see, I’m a pro.)
My other recommendation is the Sunny House on the Lake at Disney Springs. Many of the menu options can be GF and both the atmosphere and food were great. It was dark during the meal, but you get the idea of this GF CHEESY BREAD. Aaaaaaaa.

I love this Xirena dress! It fits true to size and the quality of the fabric is very good.

New goodies have arrived from my friends at HigherDOSE! They sent me their new Healthy Hair Ritual Set, which includes a dermal stamper, a new light-activated hair serum, and an amazing acupressure brush. You can layer it up throughout your routine with my favorite Red Light Cap. Check out the new set here and save money on LightActive until tomorrow!

Read, watch, listen:
I’ve seen this method many times as well.
After I finished reading this book (which I devoured on the plane), I started working on this book.
What is your policy against bad language? I’m sure I let the F-bomb slip from time to time, but I’m adamantly against it around here lol.

A great podcast episode featuring two of my favorites.
Fitness, health and delicious food:
The famous Jennifer Aniston salad is back. On soccer practice nights, I often make something for P to eat while he plays. I eat it every time I practice (lol). This time, I air-fried chicken thighs, chopped them, and garnished them with pineapple. It’s so easy, so delicious, and the leftovers are perfect for lunch the next day.

You don’t need to do a ton of strength training to reap the benefits.
Thank you very much for visiting my blog today! Have a great weekend! See you soon!
