According to OPI experts, the must-see summer nail trends are a must-see

It’s safe to say that summer dog days are in full swing, as another heat recommendation is in effect for most of the country. You can feel drainage on long hot days at the end of the summer, but there are plenty of simple fixes to boost your mood, in ways that burn hot summer nail polish while maximizing your beauty routine. But if your inspiration is lacking, we have you covered. Earlier, OPI Global Ambassador and celebrity nail artist Natalie Minerva has listed three quickly unboxed summer nail trends that are guaranteed to drive you out of summer mani slump.

French for “devil”

Yes, you read it right. The first recommendation for Minerva’s summer nail trends is the edgy take on classic French nail polish. “This nail design takes classic hints and gives it a spicy outline with fiery red curves and polka dot dots screaming summer drama,” says Minerva. To reproduce the appearance, select the OPI gel color in the Big Apple Red, Black Onyx, or Pearl Clutching behavior.

3d ‘Hobnails’

Inspired by the short, thick hob nail texture designs that are normally used to reinforce boots, Minerva is another quirky summer manicure trend that comes from one of her A-List customers and summer IT girl, Addison Ray, with a 3D name and bubble-inspired hob nail polish. “This nail trend has shiny 3D elements such as foam and gel-raised textures that add foam dimensions,” she says. For the Addison appearance, Minerva used the OPI. On top of the tips on Almond’s brand Gelevate softgel, I’m the perfect builder gel.

“Jucicy” Double French

Double French manicure has been trending for a while, and Minerva’s “juicy” style in summer emphasizes the dimension design by adding a little texture. “I’ll meet my hilarious sister, the double Frenchman from French manicure,” says Minerva. “This design offers a classic modern and playful twist. Accessorize by applying a gem at the center of the nail.” To create the look below, Minerva used OPI cotton sugar clawz for the sweetest pink shade.
