Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Recipe

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Recipe

This apple cinnamon oatmeal recipe is creamy and smells like an apple pie with cinnamon and vanilla! Walnut and maple syrup top.

Back in the early blog days, I’ve always made healthy apple cinnamon oatmeal and pear oatmeal! Whenever I left the banana, it was my request.

Certainly, I don’t eat oatmeal for breakfast as much as I used to. Because my mornings are more focused on kids than I used to. But I still love being cozy with a bowl of oatmeal over the weekend. Birch loves oatmeal, but he doesn’t love many mixins, so this recipe is good for me to make as a meal prep and enjoy whenever I want (it makes a great snack!)

This homemade apple cinnamon oatmeal warms you from the inside! Garnishes of ground cinnamon, fresh apples, rolled oats, walnuts and pure maple syrup make your grandmother’s apple pie dream. I like honeycrisp apples for almost anything, but I also work with Granny Smith and Gala. (There is an article about apples that are the best recipes.)

This recipe also has a soft cinnamon apple recipe.

How to make apple cinnamon oatmeal

This recipe is instantly gathered at the top of the stubate. After frying the apples, combine everything in the pot and, like most kerf-oatmeal recipes, stir until the oatmeal reaches the consistency you want!

I mostly make oatmeal with half whole milk and half water for the perfect blend of creaminess and cooking time. All milk or water can be used if necessary.

If you want that option, use plant-based milk to make dairy and gluten-free oats. You can also make this with steel cut or instant oats. How do you usually cook them and cook the apples sideways.
