About Joanna Hardy:

Joanna Hardy is a practitioner and teacher of Insight Meditation (Vipassana). She is a faculty member at the University of Southern California, a meditation trainer at Apple Fitness+, a founding member of the Meditation Union, a teachers’ council member at the Spirit Rock Meditation Center, a visiting retreat teacher teacher at the Insight Meditation Society, and a collaborator on many online meditation apps and programs. Her greatest passion is teaching meditation in a community dedicated to seeing the truth about racism, gender inequality, and oppression closely relate to the teachings of compassionate behavior in Buddhism and the associated perspectives on social and racial justice.
