🧐 Why this recipe works
Firstly, this recipe is very easy to prepare…no cooking skills required. The ingredients are simple, fresh, and healthy (except for the bacon, but it’s just a few slices so that’s okay). Chimichurri sauce can also be made in advance. Leftover chimichurri can be used as a dipping sauce with delicious bread. Noodles are perfectly cooked. Just heat it up in the same pot with the rest of the ingredients. No need to boil water in a separate pot. Yay, easy cleaning! Protein noodles are also gluten-free! Jump to:

🔖 Recipe ingredients and substitutions
Protein Noodles: You can buy protein noodles at Costco. Look for it in the refrigerated section of your store. Chimichurri sauce: This is an Argentinian sauce that is usually served with grilled meat or as a dipping sauce. The sauce is spicy, so if you don’t like spicy food, please use pesto sauce instead. Shrimp: You will need 8 ounces of large shrimp. Sausage: I used hot links, but you can use kielbasa or your favorite sausage. Bacon: Everything tastes better with bacon. Cheese: Add crumbled feta and parmesan to this pasta to give it a creamy texture.
🍤 How to make this recipe

🤷🏻♀️ Recipe FAQ
When was the last time you had pasta that had more protein than carbohydrates? These days, most nutritionists agree that eating too many carbohydrates is bad for you.
These noodles contain 10 grams of protein and 7 grams of carbohydrates per serving. Compare these numbers to regular pasta, which has 6 grams of protein and 32 grams of carbohydrates in the same 3/4 cup serving.
Comparing these numbers shows that protein noodles are better.
It is also helpful to mention that these delicious noodles are made with pollock, and the dry pasta is made with semolina and durum flour.
It’s difficult to answer such a subjective question, but all I can do is give my own opinion. This noodle tastes bland, so I would like to see it improved a bit. In other words, it’s not delicious as it is.
Similar to tofu, the sauce in which the noodles are cooked enhances the flavor of the noodles. Therefore, we highly recommend choosing a sauce that goes well with your noodles.
One of the main reasons chimichurri sauce pairs so well with protein noodles is because it contrasts the bland flavor of the noodles with the intense flavor of the sauce.
👩🏼🍳Pro Tips
One of the reasons this recipe works so well is because the protein noodles are made with haddock (a fish). Shrimp, sausage, and chimichurri sauce complement the noodles. Although the noodles have no flavor, we do not recommend eating them with tomato-based sauces such as spaghetti sauce. Instead, choose olive oil or cream-based sauces that are usually served with seafood. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
