Ask Demi Moore, who has relied on Fringe, to help create her character in the new Gucci short film, “Tiger.”
Moore plays a character named Barbara Gucci in the film. This was directed by Spike Johnze and Harina Rain to showcase their Demna era in an Italian fashion house. She turned to hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos to bring Barbara Gucci to life. The bangs were a joint event between filmmakers Moore, Giannetos and Gucci creative director Demna. “Dem had the idea of ’Gucci bangs’,” shared Giannetos. “And of course, he always has the right vision.” After the group agreed to Fringe, Giannetus set off to work and knitted a series of brow-crunching curtain buns that blend beautifully into Moore’s signature long dark hair.
The bangs looked effortlessly cool in Moore’s t-shirt and denim headline to set outfits, but when she became the outfit and character they transformed into something completely different. The Demi Moorians’ bangs were a bit rock and roll, but Barbara Gucci’s bangs were even more polished, bumping her forehead to the right, brushing her forehead straight, swapping the “lunch” aesthetic, especially with the addition of a red Gucci Jack.
