I always cook salmon. This is one of my favorite proteins. Because it’s easy, versatile, and always feels like a real dinner. I started making this version last year and ended up cooking it at least 10 times over the summer alone. When I say this is repetitive, I mean it. When I want something bold and flavorful without adding any extra steps, this is my go-to.

I have two blackened salmon fillets in the air fryer basket.

I make my own blackhead seasoning in bulk so I have it whenever I need it, but store-bought blends work just as well. This salmon is great in tacos, on salads, in wraps, or simply served fresh. It’s quick, easy, and one of those recipes that will make you love cooking again.

Preheat if necessary. If your airfryer requires preheating, make sure it is fully preheated before adding the salmon. The thickness of salmon varies. If the fillets are thin, start checking for doneness at about 7 to 8 minutes. Please let me rest. After cooking, let the salmon rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
