Every year, as the holidays approach, I find myself juggling a packed calendar that wraps food, baking, hosting, and of course… gifts.

Thankfully, my husband has taken over packaging duties since I became pregnant with our youngest – a real Christmas miracle! It frees me to focus on my favorite parts: share at parties, give as a gift, make delicious low carb and keto recipes to enjoy sweet treats with my family.

This keto sugar pecan recipe was a holiday staple in my house. I love double the batch and giving a mason jar as a gift, sprinkle it over a salad, or keep it on hand for a sweet, crispy keto snack.

Unlike traditional candied nuts loaded with sugar, this version uses a blend of sugar-free sweeteners, monkfruit allure sweeteners and sugar-free maple syrup without spikes or ousting them out of ketosis to create its perfect caramelized coating.

Whether on a low-carb diet or not, anyone wants to reduce their white sugar intake during the crazy holiday season, this is a very low carb snack!

In the Christmas past, we enjoy these delicious recipes: zucchi nila sanina, spaghetti squash la sanina, brussels sprout salad, asparagus bundles, and of course lots of desserts! Some of my favourites are my grandmother’s butterball, a simple recipe for peppermint brownie bark.

My favorite is the peppermint cheesecake pie! There is also a brand new Pecan recipe that is sure to impress anyone with sweet teeth!

My daughter and I have been baking for weeks and frozen everything to be ready to deliver the Goody Tray on Christmas Eve. I made men with salted caramel cashew fudge, white chocolate coconut fudge, sugarless sugar cookies and gingerbread.

If I have the time I want to make chocolate cream pie, but I need to make a grain-free cinnamon roll muffin first on Christmas morning.

What! I’m tired of thinking about it! But today’s recipe is the best candied pecan recipe that you can make over and over again without stress or worry, honestly and hassle! Perfect for gifts at a cute little mason jar and a holiday party!

Tips for the perfect sugar-free candied pecans

Use parchment: Line up baking sheets to prevent sticking and clean easily. Stir along the way: If you throw fresh pecans in the middle of baking, the sweetener mixture will evenly coat each nut, creating a crisp, candy-like shell. Completely Cool: Chill the pecans on a pan – when chilled, the coating will harden to its attractive crispy texture. Storage: Store in a close-up container or glass mason jar at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. Perfect for making a head holiday preparation!

Snack Attack: Enjoy just a handful of these keto pecans as a sweet treat with plain Greek yogurt or cottage cheese that fits your low-carb or keto diet.
