For this edition, Johnson spoke with Love Island USA Season 7 contestant Hoodham Stafa and straightened out the products she really used in the villa.
Season 6 of Love Island US produced several authentic beauty influencers, including Islander Ria Katebu, who was appointed Chief Creative Officer of fragrance brand Skylar, and Jana Craig, who has partnered with brands such as Maybelline, Shea Moisture and Flamingo after escaping the villa. The impact of the show continued on to Season 7, when the brand slides into the comments section and is cozy with the islanders, including winners Amaya Espinal, Olandia Kalten and Hoda “Mamatheta” Mustafa. But which brands did you actually use on the show?
A few days after being released from Villa, a 24-year-old fitness instructor, we chatted enchantingly about our love of deep-running makeup. “Do you remember when everyone was going through (Anastasia Beverly Hills) repeated blowjob forehead situations? They’d be eyeliner and almost make tutorials,” she says. “I was obsessed with makeup during the Kylie Lip Challenge. I was doing something to overturn my lips. I’m still obsessed with makeup and playing around with it.”
In season 7, Glam Suite had those brands in stock, so we saw a cast lady using many Maybelline and Cerave products while preparing. In the end, they were sponsors. However, for her daily routine, Mustafa packed plenty of her other favorites. “I have a very thorough makeup routine,” she says. “I like profit cosmetics (Fulla) bronzer, Charlotte Tilberry (Beauty Light Wand) highlighter, and (the perfect airbrush) set spray. I love hourglass brushes and concealer. I also loved Maybelline’s concealer in the villa. As for her lips, she says she usually just wore a small Mac lip liner, as her natural lip color is washed away by itself.
