About Taita Pacha Kanchai:
Taita Pacha Kanchai was a healer whose ancestral name means “the radiance of the sun that pierces the earth.” As a Yanakuna Yachak, also known as a “spiritual authority,” Pacha has dedicated his life to the study and practice of the spiritual traditions passed down to him by his ancestors and elders. He currently serves as a speaker and coordinator for the Grand National Council of Indigenous Peoples of Colombia (ONIC), which represents a remarkable alliance of 115 tribes. He is also the president of the Global Indigenous Science Network, a representative to the United Nations, and an activist for indigenous sovereignty and environmental justice. As a transmitter of the sacred medicine of Yage (Ayahuasca), Pacha’s driving force is to embody and share the knowledge of coexistence in harmony with the spirit and wisdom of Mother Earth.
