As far as I can remember, Gap and Old Navy are two of the most immovable destinations for trendy, affordable functional clothing, offering daily staples that will help you look and feel the best without breaking the bank. But considering the gap and old navy, your brain usually doesn’t think about beauty and cosmetics, but it’s about to change. This week, Gap’s CEO announced a massive expansion of the company, marking the gateway to a bustling beauty space.
Gap marks a new chapter in the Beauty Line announcement
Gap and Old Navy aren’t the first destination you’ll think about when you need a beauty refresh, but Gap’s CEO Richard Dixon is determined to change the song. This week, Dixon made an exciting announcement that both Gap and Old Navy stores are leaning towards beauty, cosmetics and accessories in a much more important way this fall. The Wall Street Journal reports that Gapstore will debut its fragrance line next year and Old Navy Store will start to carry new beauty products in the coming months, and beauty enthusiasts have already spoken to the various brands featured.
In addition to the beauty products of the Old Navy franchise, the company’s expansion into beauty will also see a shelf stocking skincare, makeup and hair care products from iconic beauty brands like Elf Beauty and Mario Badescu, reports WSJ. In line with the brand’s accessible and affordable identity, beauty products that hit old navy and gap stores are said to be under $25, making budget-friendly beauty shopping an integral part of the in-store gap experience.
