George H. Zantis breaks down his globally inspired self-care routine and believes coffee "looks half decent"

What does a typical day look like for Greek and Australians living in the California Bay Area? For actor George H. Xantis, it is a daily routine of staying true to his roots.

shower. sh*t. Shaved. Is it just an Australian phrase? Anyway, we all do that. However, although I did not use “beauty” products before entering the film industry, I was required in the dry conditions selected and the hydration I had chosen. Make your face with a sweet scented cream dessert. ”

For hair care, the story is interesting and boring. My wife and I found our favourite brand of hair products while we were staying at a flashy island resort. Comes entirely from a Greek family, my wife and I took a honeymoon to the Greek islands to celebrate our big fat Greek marriage. There were very few exports and when we saw a supplier carrying Apivita in the US, we went to Greece! ”

“I usually do my hair and make sure my lips aren’t dry, especially during filming. The lip balm I use is clearly famous all over the world and is another Australian product: Lucas Paw Paw Ointment. It was the ‘winducks’ of my home, growing up in Sydney.

“Uppercut matte pomade is a cheat code for people with curly wavy hair like me. It’s not too oily and doesn’t have a ‘dry’ look, but it’s very adaptable and easy to apply. Dark – Like its beach, “Alexander the Great” is an Australian favorite and used by all kinds of flashy barbers. ”

“Now I look half decent, it’s coffee time. Scratch, ‘barista style’ coffee. Luckily, my barista trained wife worked in Melbourne, one of the world’s coffee capitals.

“Anyway, a good day started with delicious coffee and she taught me the art of making wonderful, Australian-style flat whites.

“Don’t blame Trady, I blame his tools. A good coffee machine needs delicious coffee beans. So I’m always looking for fellow Australians to grind the best coffee beans. Both are fortunate enough, when I need coffee beans, I refill to supplement my supply.

Rooibos Tea

“If caffeine is too engrossed, I can immerse myself in avidly and carefully indulge in South African style rooibos tea. It is usually housed in a Sydney-style T2 injector mug. T2 is another Melbourne-based company specializing in tea leaves and teaware accessories. Sugar – With a splash of milk, you’re ready to ring. ”

“Snacks are very important on the set, and the best snack you can get is the true blue Australian vegemite. It’s high in protein, low in calories and packs a salty punch that will drive away hunger when long filming days are sacrificed.

Vegemite
Levendy Wine

Finally, sometimes you can involve the day with a bottle of wine. While in the Sonoma County/Napa area, I was shocked to stumble upon a winemaker with a loving and familiar name from Greek. Cabernet Sauvignon – rich, refreshing yet bold and true. ”
