Nature likes to make small patches of related species.
Sometimes we were planning partially food forest islands, but then nature was planted more. If we like it, we will hold it. If not, we won’t – like Jess puts out venom Ivy in this video.
A waksmartre appeared next to one of my plums. It’s a native nitrogen ficsher, so I left it alone. However, popcorn trees appear in food forests, eliminating people with extreme prejudice.
At the edge, we get lots of wild blackberries. And I discovered mulberry seedlings earlier this week. Beauty fruits and wild plums appeared in my North Florida food forest. Some of them have grown by us, some of them we will mow.
Nature fills the gap!
