Officially, “Autumn 2025 is the season for cat’s eye nails.” The shape-shifting, ever-changing manicure style follows the tips of many of our favorite nail trendsetters, including Ms. Hailey Lord Baldwin Bieber, who sported a fall brown cat-eye manicure at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.
Bieber has been sticking to very neutral nails lately, but he changed it up for a glitzy gala he attended with his best friend and fellow model Kendall Jenner. To get his nails done for fall, Bieber turned to his go-to manicurist, Zora Ganzolito. He created a manicure that beautifully complemented Bieber’s strapless brown silk Schiaparelli dress and changed color in the light of the camera’s flashbulb.
From one angle, Bieber appeared to be wearing a simple chocolate brown nail polish in the same shade as her dress, but when she turned around, the color was almost the same color as the gown’s corseted waistband, before changing color again, to a champagne pewter shade. The beauty of a cat eye manicure is that it firmly grasps the line between extravagant and casual. The rich colors and glamorous finish make it perfect for the red carpet, but the neutrals make it easy to wear during your regular work week. Now, glazed donut nails! A new trend is reigning in Tinseltown! A number of celebrities are sporting cat eye nails, including Jessica Simpson, Cardi B, and another of Ganzolito’s clients, Vanessa Hudgens.
