A few weeks ago, Halsey revealed that over the past decade, singer-songwriter wore blue dyes and wigs, he dyed his hair a vibrant shade of turquoise. It was actually a good thing since she was given us some Tumblr reality. So, revealing that this is a seemingly long-term commitment to vibrant colours seems to be a major shift from all of the neutral and modest looks seen by so many celebrity beauty icons over the past few years.
But while the blue baby bangs and bob are a big break from the current norm of beauty, Halsey already seems a little bored.
On Wednesday, August 20th, they posted a selfie video on their Instagram stories using a whimsical butterfly filter. But it’s not a filter. The latest changes in her hair.

A bob once clearly chin length is now a bob on the cheekbones. In fact, it’s almost a bowl cut, if not the fact that she cut the baby shorter and a little rougher than before.
But the biggest and most obvious happens when Halsey runs his fingers through his hair to show the gradient layer of colour below.
