There comes a time when every Kardashian-Jenner woman hears the siren song of blonde hair. And this time, the call came to matriarch Kris Jenner.
Jenner has stayed true to her signature dark pixie cut for literally decades, but lately she’s been in a more experimental phase, and nothing is more impactful than going unexpectedly platinum blonde. All of the Jenner daughters have done the same thing at least once, including Kourtney and Kendall, but Kendall opted for a warm, buttery blonde instead of an icy white.
But back to Jenner! The Kardashian mom debuted her short hair with a fresh, light blonde look at the Shark Beauty event on Oct. 8. The blonde was the work of her daughter Kim’s go-to stylist Chris Appleton, and the couple shared the look on Instagram. Instead of the black hair we immediately associate with Jenner, she’s now rocking a jawline-length bob, pale, structured platinum blonde, darkly stained at the roots, and finished with Elsa-esque bleach and tone all over. Her hair was styled straight and parted to the side with soft side bangs, and makeup artist Ash K. Holm applied black liner to the top and bottom waterlines, and highlighted Jenner’s eyes with fluttery lashes.
