Lymphatic drainage is nothing new, but it is quickly becoming one of the most talked about treatments in the beauty industry. In addition to the results and long-term benefits that can be felt, it’s not difficult to see why it’s so popular. Beyond that, lymph wastewater treatment is non-invasive, with zero downtime and can improve overall health. As a longtime Gua Sha user, I have witnessed these benefits on my skin, including a more sculpted look. However, my interests have changed as the body’s lymphatic wastewater treatment has become more mainstream.
Like facials, lymphatic wastewater treatment comes in many forms. Some require handheld tools. Other forms include manual treatment using movements like massage. There are even high-tech machines designed to treat the body. The end goal is the same, but the methods are very different. In the future, we will analyze two of the most popular treatments, including what we expect during and after the experience.

What is lymphatic wastewater treatment?
The lymphatic system is complex in itself. It is not only part of the circulatory system, but also consists of blood vessels, organs, ducts and nodes. According to a celebrity aesthetician, the main function of the Nerida Joy lymphatic system is to transport nutrients to the blood and toxins. In that vein, lymphatic drainage treatment is designed to stimulate the body’s lymphatic system and promote lymphatic flow. “The lymphatic system plays an important role in circulation and natural detoxification,” said Courtney Yeager, founder of Tox technology. Through specialized techniques, she explains that treatment helps to release stagnation and promote flow and many physical changes.
TOX Technology Lymph Wastewater Treatment
TOX technology is a unique way to use practical, customized movements for lymph drainage. Yeager explains that this method combines lymph drainage and body sculpting movements to allow for a more customized, dynamic experience. A customized approach means that results may differ. However, Jaeger points out that most people notice an immediate sensation of breathing, an increased circulation and a more contoured appearance. “Lymphatic drainage can help you feel lower, more balanced and give you a new sense of energy,” she adds.
What to expect during your treatment
Each session is designed to be as relaxed as you recover. Lieing on the table, the technician begins a series of rhythmic movements, opening the node for drainage before continuing along the length of the body. TOX offers several treatments, including 60-minute sessions and 90-minute sessions. Each function stimulates lymph flow, strengthens circulation, carves the body and treats target areas.

We chose a 60-minute treatment, including systemic treatment. During my treatment I was surprised to learn that no tools were used. TOX technology is described as a sculpture-centric method with intentional movement. Movements vary in intensity and type, but they flow in a natural rhythm, reducing swelling and bloating. “The outcomes can last from a few days to about a week, depending on lifestyle factors,” Yeager says. She explains that consistency is key to prominent and lasting impact. After treatment I felt much lighter and more energetic all day and for a few days. “Many clients incorporate lymph drainage into their weekly or monthly routines to maintain results,” she says. TOX also offers a variety of products designed to make practicing at home easier. Think dry brush, tox patches, and guachus.
ICOONE Lymphatic drainage treatment
Unlike manual lymphatic drainage methods, ICOONE focuses on microstimulation using patented roboderm technology. “It provides thousands of multidirectional microstimulation effects per minute, providing a more uniform, accurate and deeper stimulation of connective tissue and lymphatic pathways to enhance drainage and activation of collagen,” he explains that this will provide a stronger immune response, reduced swelling and swelling, improved skin tone and elasticity, and a relaxation from the weight of the legs, a sense of lightness and vitality.
What to expect during your treatment
One of the things that make ICOONE unique is its signature white bodysuit. Made of breathable materials, it is designed to protect your skin during treatment. Once it’s right, the practitioner will slide the icon roller over your body to deliver a micro-stimulating massage. According to Lucchesi, the session can last between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the target area.
Results and aftercare
During my ICOONE treatment I was informed that the strength of the machine could be adjusted to suit my resistance. There was initial discomfort, but as treatment continued it calmed down. However, certain areas may remain sensitive throughout. For me, it was my inner thighs. The 1-hour session included systemic treatment targeting the stomach, arms and thighs. According to Lucchesi, immediate results include lightness, reduced swelling and a better defined contour. He points out that the results can last for several days after the initial treatment and last longer in a series of sessions. After the treatment, I felt light and noticed that the skin on my abdomen, arms and thighs felt smooth.
For the best long-term benefits, Lucchesi recommends scheduling regular maintenance sessions. Many clients go during the target program for three to four weeks, or more often, he says. However, there are some things you can do on a tentative basis. “Watering is important to help with lymph flow,” says Lucchesi. It is also recommended that you continue to operate with light movements and walking to ensure light circulation.
