Unlike her death, her character, Madeline, Megan Hilty, is completely ok with aging herself naturally. The Broadway star recently spoke to people during his Tony Awards press day about his Botox and Filler experience and why he decided to refrain from getting it for the time being.
In the 1992 film’s Broadway adaptation, Hilty plays an actress drinking magic potion that promises eternal youth.
“Don’t do it, girl,” she joked. Hilty also pointed out that playing a character who is obsessed with being unaged has actually influenced her to lead a life that is opposite to that way of thinking. “Madeline taught me. It’s funny every night to actually ‘crash’, but it’s funny because it’s true,” she said. “Falling Aight” is a musical number that sings about how Hilti’s characters must maintain their image through plastic surgery, injections, and more. She previously got Botox and fillers, but she was chosen to limit her recent frequency.
“In particular, we torture ourselves in this quest for this idea of perfection that does not exist. Through that, I actually spent the opposite way,” she said. “I stopped Botox and my filler and all of that many years ago. And while I’m not saying I’ll never do it again, I’ll try this song a lot and say, “Well, wait a second. Should I do that? That’s causing me to question a lot.”
Hilti will join a celebrity chorus open for the past few weeks about her cosmetic treatment journey. Allison Holker told fans via Instagram that she prefers to inject a doctor with a very minimal amount of Botox, but Ariana Maddix explained in an interview why she doesn’t get the filler. I don’t know that it’s causing all this transparency lately, but I’m happy to take it.
