Krishnamurti’s teachings to avoid spiritual bypasses and false ego-led enlightenment create the dangers of excessive identification with any religion, group, or ideology, how this creates that we all have the ultimate truth within us, and how compared to others, or the root of the critic’s roots, the root of the root of the critic’s roots. We support greed, violence, and systemic divisions that we have cultivated and amplified that society has embraced our personal journey, seeing this life as one chapter in a larger, sacred story, seeing the truth, and all of our experiences as one chapter in a path to fully practice.
Nearly sixty years before he passed away in 1986 at the age of 90, Jidu Krishnamurti crossed the world and conveyed voluntary and fascinating discourse to large audiences. Krishnamurti took on the role of investigators rather than authority figures, encouraging individuals to question their assumptions and explore the depth of consciousness. Estimated at over 100 million words, his extensive work spans more than 60 years of relentless research and dialogue. Combined into numerous books and translated into multiple languages, his teaching continues to inspire job seekers around the world, inviting them to embark on a deep journey of self-discovery and understanding. J. Krishnamurti’s legacy offers timeless wisdom to those who endure as a guided light, challenge traditional thinking, and dare to explore the complexity of being.
Be Here Now Listen to Krishnamurti’s lecture on freedom from a known podcast on Now. About David Silver:
David Silver was the former co-host of the MindRolling Podcast. He is a filmmaker and director, and has recently appeared in a great disguise. The gorgeous disguise tells the unique story of a group of Western spiritual seekers inspired by the 60s. He is known as Maharaj Ji, following him to meet the great American teacher Ram Das and meet his guru Neem Karoriba Baba. Two days before he left his body, Maharaj Ji instructed KC Tewari to take care of Westerners. He remained determined until the day he died in 1997. The term “Rockumentary” was first applied to this two-hour film. Rolling Stone recently described the film as a “masterpiece.” Silver’s Warner Bros feature film No Nukes has also launched an entire trend in documentaries in music/activism features.
“He was always an advocate of seeing himself. He felt that the deeper truth about the meaning of living did not come from others. Even if the greatest guru is in front of you, it comes from what you are truly properly embedded in yourself.
