Mind-rolling with Ragu Marx - EP. 611 - Living with author and speaker Andy Chalev, dying

Author Andy Chalev talks about personal and collective grief and teaches listeners that accepting loss can help us live a more fulfilling life.

Get Andy’s book “Bying To Live: Finding the Meaning of Life Through Death in MindRolling.” Raghu and Andy have Andy’s early experiences in the emotional and intellectual processes of fear, existential fear, and childhood loss. How to learn to live in love rather than to find blessings in difficult situations amid global crisis, politics and inequality, and to learn to “dye on the shoulder” while laughing at the dance between the seriousness and absurdity of life, and to provide service to others about Andy Chalev:

Andy Chalev is an author, mentor and speaker whose life and work are based on radical emotional integrity. At 18, Andy’s mother was killed by a drunk driver hours after receiving the deep personal letter he wrote. That moment marked the beginning of a lifelong investigation into sadness, love, and the meaning of living without putting up with it.

Today, Andy works personally with client selection groups, from cultural icons to global leaders, providing mentorship rooted in vulnerability, clarity and deep presence. His work invites people to reunite themselves and accept the parts of life that we have been taught to avoid. His book, often referred to as spiritual memoirs, blends raw personal storytelling with existential insights. His latest dying living explores how coming to death and peace can open us to the full beauty of life. Originally from California, Andy currently lives in Amsterdam and oversees Wellvalen, Amsterdam’s center of coaching and leadership. Click here for Andy’s website.

“It’s a perception of fear, the main ingredient. It always goes back to the fear of death. Or you can say it differently.” – Andy Chaleff
