Jewelry that you never take off…

I’ve always loved jewelry, but over the last year or two I’ve really started to refine my style, the pieces I wear every day and the pieces I never take off. Jewelry finishes and polishes an outfit, and it has the ability to bring balance to a look that doesn’t quite fit. I’ve found that I love mixing chunkier, more sculptural pieces with lighter, everyday pieces, along with rings and bracelets that stay put no matter what. So here’s what my jewelry wardrobe looks like…
necklace
I own a few more necklaces than I’m showcasing here, but at the moment I alternate between two. I’m wearing the Mejuri Curb Chain Necklace* (ad – giveaway), which I think is probably my top jewelry pick here. Or I’m wearing the Lie Studios Elly Necklace*. They’re both on opposite ends of the spectrum and add a slightly different vibe to any outfit. I keep the Mejuri on, but swap it out for the Lie Studios, since it’s more of a daytime-only costume piece. But really, there’s not much of a decision to make here, it’s one or the other.
Earrings
Okay, now let’s play around a bit. Let’s start with something simple. My everyday earrings are a style by Mejuri that is now discontinued, but they are most similar to their Easy Medium Hoops*. They’re just simple hoops, nothing crazy. But I can sleep in them and shower in them, only taking them off to change into something more daring. I just got the Mejuri Sculptural Hoops* and they are so beautiful. Together they make the perfect capsule of subtle and daring earrings. But most of the daring earrings I wear are from Lie Studios, mainly the Julie* drop earring style or the Camille Studs* (advertisement – giveaway) which are oversized. You’ve probably seen me wearing these two styles a lot, as I use them to polish up most morning outfits.
bracelet
I don’t mix and match bracelets much, mainly because the Apple Watch takes up most of the space on my wrist. That’s why I wear the Round Box Chain Bracelet* (advertising – gift) by Mejuri together with the Timepiece Bracelet* (advertising – gift). The latter is a bit chunky, the former is more delicate, and I never take them off, only swapping them out for events when I want to bare my wrist. I hope to one day add the Elly Bracelet* by Lie Studios to my collection. It’s on my shopping list!
ring
I almost forgot to add this section! I never take these off so in a way I don’t recognize them. They are literally a part of me and I can’t take them off. My engagement and wedding rings were purchased at a local shop in Brighton (I think it’s been almost 9 years since we got engaged and I still love these rings. They’re so simple and I think Mark did a great job!). And on my left index finger I have a very old black gemstone ring that Mejuri doesn’t make anymore (the Solo Diamond Ring* is similar) stacked with a Diamonds Line Ring* (advert – gift). On my right index finger I have a Mejuri Twist Ring* (advert – gift) that I’ve had for years. On my middle finger I have a 2mm Smooth Band* and on my right ring finger I have a Claire Kinder ring that I bought when I went to Shop Anomie in San Francisco.
