Party season is the time to focus on shine, statement color, and a little creativity, especially when it comes to your eyes. The AW25 runway showed that statement party eye makeup is back. From ultra-bold brows to feather-light gloss and intense smoky color, there’s something for everyone with this season’s trends. Whether you’re keeping it minimal or dialing it up, here are five standout trends from the catwalks and how to bring them to your next big event.

5 Gorgeous Catwalk Party Eye Makeup Looks

Chanel AW25

THE LOOK: Bold graphic liner
How to wear:

Chanel’s AW25 makeup turns liner into art with bold, graphic strokes meticulously drawn to mimic the shape and texture of eyelashes. This “painted eyelash” effect is created using delicate repeating lines that extend beyond your natural lash line, giving you an edgy yet wearable silhouette. To achieve this look for party makeup, use a black-tipped liquid or gel liner to draw feathery strokes along the lash line and layer them to create the illusion of longer, farther apart lashes. Keep the rest of your makeup fresh and minimal and let those graphic “lashes” take center stage.

Prada AW25

THE LOOK: Bold, natural eyebrows and long eyelashes
How to wear:

This season, Prada focused on statement brows, full, bushy arches, brushed into bold, fuzzy shapes, and combined with exaggerated lash lengths using lash-lengthening mascara. Minimize shadows and liner to highlight your natural skin texture and the fullness of your eyebrows and lashes for a striking, wearable editing effect without the hassle.

Marni AW25

Look: 90s grunge
How to wear:

Party season is the perfect time to revive 90s indie grunge. Marni AW25’s smoky grunge eye features heavy kohl that frames both waterlines, effortlessly diffusing into washes of brick, charcoal, and terracotta. Blumarine and Dreaming Eli echoed this indie-inspired energy, and Roberto Cavalli added a twist. A cool-toned smoky eye with blue, smoked upwards but with sharply defined edges. This season’s smokey eye is a mix of rebellion and artistry. You head to the office with last night’s mascara still under your eyes and you’re ready to go again…

Harris Reed AW25

THE LOOK: Super Sonic Rush
How to wear:

If Chanel’s painted lash liner doesn’t suit you, try Ultrasonic Ultralash, like the ones seen at the Harris Reid and Courrèges fall shows. Not suitable for people with weak hearts. Individually applied lashes loop outward from both the upper and lower lashes to create dramatic shadows across the face. Curl your lashes a bit to make them more wearable, but choose long, flowing lashes that will create a dramatic impact for your party. Even if you don’t want to go super long, you can still make an impact by trying cobalt blue mascara, as seen on Harris Reed.

Victoria Beckham AW25

Look: Bordeaux eyelashes
How to wear:

It’s red wine season. But not in the way you’d expect! Victoria Beckham’s AW25 star look debuted a soft and easy-to-wear Bordeaux red wine mascara. Makeup artist Lucia Pica described the look as follows: “The freshness and coolness of clean skin is the perfect base for that disruption that inspires burgundy’s instant glow.” This warm mascara tone suits almost all skin tones and adds a touch of color to your party palette.

Top Tip: You can add some glamor to these looks by adding a bit of shine or shine to the inner corner of your eyes or upper eyelid. Applying a clear gloss under your eyebrows will enhance the look of your face and make it look cleaner.
