Practicing the Diamond Sutra with Ken McLeod

Practicing the Diamond Sutra with Ken McLeod

Host Michael Taft speaks with renowned Buddhist teacher, translator, and author Ken McLeod about how to use the Diamond Sutra as a practice text. What does the scripture really say? Is it just an age-old enigmatic philosophical puzzle, or can it be used as a powerful pointer?

Ken McLeod began studying and practicing Buddhism in 1970 under the renowned Tibetan master Kalu Rinpoche. After two three-year retreats, he was appointed resident teacher at Kalu Rinpoche’s center in Los Angeles, California, where he developed an innovative approach to teaching and translation. After his mentor passed away in 1989, Ken founded Unfettered Mind, a place for people who have a path outside the established system. His many published works include “Wake Up to Your Life,” “A Trackless Path,” and his latest book, “The Magic of Vajrayana.”
