We were sad to see no shrieking owls for years after losing an owl tree and having to move the box. There are actually two owl boxes. One is in the front yard and the other in the back. Since January (when the nesting season begins), I have been at a slight peak with a seemingly empty box, wanting to glimpse through each passing period, wanting to see the owl.
But take a look now! owl!!

We think there are women who are nesting in boxes in the front yard. There is her companion, another creaking owl hanging from a tree. Once or twice I found him and only listen to him calling her at other times. They are significantly camouflaged against the trunks of live oaks and become active after dark. As the sun sets, a woman runs through the inside of the box and appears at the opening.

She jumps out for a moment – stretches her wings? Would you like to go to the toilet? Do you drink water?

And she’ll come back. I think she’s sitting on the egg.

What a thrill to nest these beautiful little owls in one of the owl boxes again!

Every time I pass I look up, hoping to see it.

And in the end, if everything goes well, Owlett!
