Hello, Hello! Happy May! We love the warm weather. I always say on May 1st, the best six months of the year arrived. Gim all the humidity! Our school ends early this year – just after the anniversary weekend. So we’re already on stretching at home until summer. In other words, our trip to Europe is right there. It’s better to pack and start planning details for your day’s visit from the cruise ship! If anyone has been to Positano, Tunis, Carlo Forte, or Parma, feel free to drop tips and restaurant Recon in the comments!
Concerts, many Harry Potter, inexplicable, Cass eats real food, and a bit of our life these days!
Date Night for Matamount Joy Concert
Thomas was surprised with a ticket to see Mount Joy at John Paul Jones Arena last month! As we do often before JPJ shows, we went to Birch and Bloom and bloomed earlier in search of cocktails and dinner.
I love the atmosphere there! There were a few mezcal drinks to start.
And we shared some apps and appetizers – I loved the Brussels sprouts and salmon plates.
I didn’t know much about Mount Joy before going, but I enjoyed the show! They had a great atmosphere. The place was full of fans!
Harry Potter everywhere
Any day given, you will likely see a self-drawn lightning scar on the forehead of a white ch. It sums up the stage we are in! He sets HP accessories in the Easter basket and we are reading him the first book. I think magen is listed in books 4 or 5. He finally became interested in reading them! I think I have to keep that promise because he told him years ago when I read all seven books I book a trip to Universal 🙂
Tom Tom Festival
I went to the Tom Tom Festival on Easter weekend. I was pretty busy with the MT Joy Concert and was able to go to most events, preparing for a trip with a compass and ancient nutrition, but the boys and I walked downtown for one of the block parties.
While I was there, Becca, my high school BFF, texted me that she happened to be in Cville. We had to hang for an hour while we were walking. Such a fun coincidence!
Kid Juice Flight in Eastwood
There is a kids’ juice flight in Eastwood, one of our favorite local vineyards. It became a playdate afternoon fun for both of us.
Spring concert
I wish he could show us the entire video of Burch’s Spring Music Concert at his school. It was the cutest thing! See how proud he was to stand there and sing!
Brazos’ fun times
Brazos is one of my favourite spots in town. I love their cheese dip. The kids love it too. When I wasn’t drinking, I was hooked on their Rimed as a NA Marg type drink.
Diagnostics at work
On a Thursday night at Happy Hour, we decided to do a 500-piece puzzle at a time. I thought it would go very fast, but it actually took over 3 hours! We all say we were eating and talking. Only 3-4 of us were working hard on the puzzle, but it’s over!
Tillman’s date night
We have some amazing, amazing new babysitter contacts so we can go out a little more together! Like this spontaneous dinner at Tillman! Such a great place for those people see.
Neighbor’s fun
Birch has a new neighbour’s companion, and that’s what makes the afternoon difference! I love how they go between the houses.
A new red blend from the manufacturer!
The manufacturer sent me a sample of their new red blend! I love holding these in my hands for the summer when it’s likely that I’ll need to take them to a picnic or pool.
