This is “Standing meditation script for presence and grounding“Guided Meditation Script:

Standing meditation is one of the most powerful ways to slow the mind.

Think about what our bodies do when we are simply standing. We are usually in line… looking at something… having an alert conversation.

We rarely stand and do nothing.

Standing makes our bodies and minds cautious. Thus, meditation is one of the quickest ways to bring yourself to the present. It’s the perfect way to charge your battery.

If you have never done standing meditation, don’t do it for more than five minutes at a time. Once you get used to this, this can be longer.

(Pause…)

Find brooms, walking sticks, mops, and more that you can use to keep your balance from losing it. The back of the chair is in a pinch.

Hold the top of the broom/stick/chair. Spread the waist width of your feet.

Look straight ahead. I close my eyes halfway through, but not everything.

Please breathe for a while.
Feel your belly lift and fall.
Take note of your lower stomach.
