Sugar-free pecan pie recipe

“This is the best dessert you’ve ever made!!” says the noisy Hubby, who still loves white sugar and white flour products.

I love chocolate so it’s not a classic pecan pie, but it’s completely made from scratch, low carbs, and gluten-free.

How can I do it? When birthdays come and want a sweet treat, people do crazy things. The mine is on November 24th!

For my birthday, I didn’t want a cake.

Since I was a baby, I have been celebrating my birthday with my extended family every Thanksgiving. So, this pie might be late to the party with an epic plan to get a Thanksgiving keto pie recipe on the blog, but it was worth the wait.

I made the salted caramel sauce and it all started with ideas. I experimented because I knew it would be the most amazing filling mixture used in keto pie. I had to make it many times, but no one complained.

I also had to make some great low-carb, grain-free keto pie crust a few times, but isn’t it worth a bit of effort in my life? I think so.

This keto pie is not only because it’s my birthday, but because it’s been on my foodie bucket list for a very long time and finally took it up and succeeded. I feel that victory in my soul and it thrills me to share it with you.

My cookbook

I wrote this keto recipe in 2014 when I turned 43 and shared how I finally lost the stubborn 15 pounds I got when I wrote my first cookbook.

Since then I have written three more cookbooks: naturally keto, a 30-day sugar-removing diet, and my new meal with release 9/23/25 called Good Better Best!

I can’t say I feel like I’m 23 or 33, despite being a loyal exerciser who not only eats but strives for a healthy life with what I do. I love a great aerobic and strength training exercise program.

I can say I am a blessed, happy woman who is grateful for everything in her life. I am healthy, I have a beautiful family and husband who loves me and I am going to do what I love to make a living. It’s valuable. I’m grateful and don’t take anything for granted.

And maybe… perhaps…. There is a bit of truth to the fact that when you’re over 40, you don’t worry about what other people think, so you do your own thing, move on to the next project and enjoy life a little more than when you were 20.

Keto Pecan Piece Filling is Luxurious

Before you startle calorie counts and fats, remember this, it’s “Chocolate Pecan Pie!! It’s a luxury.

It’s a beautiful pie for a low carb meal and is great to have on your dessert table for special occasions. It’s not a daily type of dessert. It was for my birthday. Low carb and healthy, but it’s still high in calories and fat, and I’m just saying.

Brenda’s notes:

If you don’t have the sweeteners I used, you can use another sugar-free baking blend. If you don’t have liquid vanilla stevia, you can eliminate it. I don’t think this tasty keto pie is still sweet, but as sweet as the typical pecan pie. You can also use another flavor of liquid stevia, such as cinnamon or toffee flavor. If you don’t have a liquid version of Stevia, you can also use 1/4 teaspoon of pure stevia extract.
