This is the perfect post to send to that special someone if you need to drop a hint…
Once again, I’ve scoured the web for the ultimate festive gift guide to suit every budget and cover whoever your lucky recipient is. So if it’s Secret Santa making you scratch your head, or your special someone stumping you, look no further…
A little thing…
It is widely agreed that this category is the most difficult. Whether you’re playing Secret Santa, need a few stocking stuffers or just want to have something on hand for an unexpected gift-giver, here are our top picks, all under £15 I will introduce some of them. My top recommendation is to buy your kids their favorite book they read this year and put this super chic silk bookmark* between the pages, or add something you think they’ll love to this HAY Crate* (Materials etc.). Find the ingredients you need for indulgent hot chocolate or classic cookie recipes. Even if a gift is more of a novelty, I like it to be useful in some way, and I can’t think of anyone I know who wouldn’t take advantage of this watering globe*. What a great idea! But I’m a sucker for edible gifts, so this Hotel Chocolat Dark Chocolate Baton* and Tony’s Christmas Gift Pack* looks right up my street.

Clothes and cashmere…
As always, when it comes to clothing, we suggest that unless specified otherwise, it’s best to stick to cashmere or generally comfortable items. My favorite matching sets this year are this jumper* and these pants* from ARKET. It gives you the feel of an authentic totem. Cashmere socks are on my Christmas list every year and I can’t go wrong with the ones from The White Company*. A real OG. However, these Falke Wool & Cashmere Blend Socks* are a chicer and more affordable alternative. Dressing gowns are great because they last for years and the recipient can always make use of them. Personally, I love Soho House Fleece*, but this Tekla Fabrics Striped Dressing Gown* looks super comfortable too.

A dream of someone who loves beauty…
One of the things I buy every year is this Aromatherapy Associates Set* for my grandparents. They found a way to keep it going year-round – my heart!!! Sets always give the best value, but sometimes it’s best to gift something that you really like and think the other person will like as well. It would be good too. For me, it’s Summer Fridays Lip Butter*, Maison Margeria’s When the Rain Stops fragrance*, and Westman Atelier Blender Brush*. These are all things I use every day. If you had to choose the top, would you choose the top? It is this Face Gym Sculpting Tool*. Any beauty lover will have already played the Gua Sha game, which is unbreakable, stays nice and cool, and is perfect for when you’re traveling.

For gourmets…
What foodie doesn’t love cookbooks? My favorite that I’ve bought and baked multiple times this year is “Sweet Enough” by Allison Roman*. You’ll love it, especially if you have a bakery. As someone who loves to cook, I would never say no to a set of measuring spoons. – I use these when making smoothies every morning and I think these* would look great in any kitchen. These onion goggles* feel like a joke gift, but I guarantee you’ll end up actually using them. If you’re looking for a slightly more expensive gift, foodies will fall in love with the Pasta Maker*. Put the date for your homemade pasta dinner in your diary as soon as possible.

Something at home…
Have a home buddy in your life? May I suggest a little book and blanket set? This lambswool blanket * paired with Ann Patchett’s Tom Lake (which I just finished reading) , what a great book!). I can’t think of a better combo. Maybe throw in a face mask or pajamas and you’ll be at the top of the list. A cute vase is also a great option. I really like the look of this sandstone*. The artwork is a bit complicated and requires you to know your recipient well, but it feels like a very well thought out present, especially if it’s already framed. This* is a colorful and affordable print, this lemon print* is perfect for your hallway or kitchen.
For household use*

For those who are organized…
I mean, this is where I do my annual book plug, right?! An Edited Life* is everyone’s decluttering manual, and you won’t fall for the decluttering bug after just flipping through a few pages. I guarantee it. People who work from home will appreciate practical gifts like this Weekly Schedule Organizer* and Gold Desktop Tidy*. Or if you want to get serious, this desk organizer* is on my personal Christmas list. I have never seen this Joseph Joseph cosmetic case* before. I love that it’s a lovely two-in-one that not only holds all my daily beauty items, but also doubles as a stand-up mirror. This HK Living* is a little smaller, but also perfect for storing jewelry.
For organized people*

For fitness enthusiasts…
Lululemon is the best gift for anyone who loves a good sweat. No one is complaining about Align pants* (and if you need to change your size, returns are very flexible over the Christmas period). The Lululemon yoga mat* is something I’ve had for years (probably around 7 years). Years at this point! These B Yoga Helix weights* are the chicest weights I’ve ever seen. I feel like Bala also makes some really gorgeous workout accessories like these resistance bands* and balance blocks*. Display it in your workout corner. Do you know someone who lifts? They never turn down lifting gloves* and they look super stylish.

Let’s hear it for the boy…
If you want to check it out, Mark has compiled a complete 44-piece gift. But I asked him what was the most popular. And this is what he came back with… a set of these mugs * is at the top of his wishlist and we can see why – they’re so beautiful! I agree with him that t-shirts are always a solid choice and you can sneakily check the size of shirts he already owns. This shirt from Colorful Standard* has really great colors. When it comes to accessories, he wears a Carhartt beanie* every year and never misses a water bottle like this Yeti*. A fancy hand cream that you don’t mind having all over your nightstand is always a winner, and Aesop Resurrection*’s hand cream smells really, really good.

For small children…
If you want ideas for little humans in the 0-12 month old category, check out last year’s post. Because this year we are well-versed in all things toddler-related. Is there anything to buy for a 2 or 3 year old child? I have your back. We’re big train fans, so any type of Brio Train Set* feels like a solid choice (or a battery-powered train* if you know you already have one). Role-play toys are always good too – Ralph is a big fan of this doctor’s kit* and anything kitchen-related like this coffee machine* always makes him feel like he’s doing something for real. Ralph has played with this Henry Hoover* toy every day since he got it. Or, if you’re just going for a little something, make your parents appreciate this reusable sticker book* that comes with them every time you go out to eat. So, it’s so good and only £2.99!!!
