Under eye treatment

Hey hey guys, I hope everything is going well!

In today’s post I mark a “clinic journey” that seeks to improve my concerns about the area under the eyes. A bit of background before we dive into it

Under my eyes, even from my teens, coupled with the thin lines and mild creepy skin I’ve had forever, I’m screaming! I also get dark circles and eye bags very easily, as I don’t sleep early and can’t get enough sleep. They really didn’t affect my makeup, so I was fine with these issues, meaning I would like to use a lot of concealer and powder without dealing with wrinkles or separation I managed to get away with it, so it didn’t bother me while it bothered me. Fast forward to 2022 and I started to notice the concealer creases very quickly when I put on makeup. I was using the same product so I couldn’t understand what was going on, but I switched between products and got a new concealer and powder anyway.

I also noticed that my eye area got a little worse as I got older. My eye area was dry and I sank a little more, but the thin lines remained the same so I knew this was probably the culprit. I had to stop using all of the concealer together (especially thicker concealer) and switched to a lighter foundation shade to enhance and brighten my face. I also switched to using Powder Foundation and set up a defect. This worked for a while, but no matter what technique I used, the wrinkles and separation have returned (and I have tried so many hacks/tips). I also felt tired and looked much older due to the dark circles and hollowness. This was when I began to be very troubled by it.

In 2023, I was consulted to discuss disadvantaged fillers and other beneficial treatments, but I was told that I might not be a candidate for fillers because of the quality of my skin. I was told I needed to complete some microneedle sessions with the NCTF booster. Then I’ll come back for a filler discussion. I did one session of microneedling and put all the others on hold. Last year I decided to actually try my eye concerns. Because now I am in a very dissatisfied place. I’ve looked at many clinic options and would like to narrow it down from the start.

We also refined our under-eye routines. It’s so crazy I didn’t actually get a dedicated product for it as much as it bothered me (it’s what I’m worried about spending a lot of time causing trouble to the problem I was, but I don’t have enough time to actually try to fix it). I use the serum and cream I used on my face in the eye area, but it didn’t take long to get the right amount of properly formulated eye cream. That has changed. This year I’m focused on trying out different clinic treatments, so I want to make sure my skin quality and eye skin care routines are up to normal. I’m currently using the same active I use on the face in the eye area. I use C Tango Eye Cream with VIT C & Peptide in AM. As part of my challenge, for now, Haruharu Eye Cream.

Treatment and expectations

Based on the three consultations I’ve had and many readings I’m thinking of polynucleotides, PRF/PRP or Sunekos Eyes and Fotona Smooth Eye Laser. Laser is the most expensive option so I’ll save and probably get it later this year or next year. I’d like to start polynucleotide therapy as soon as possible (at least two or three sessions) and then notice the outcome over a few months, then try PRP/PRF or Sunekos.

I know I have to go through a lot of trial and error before I get the results I am looking for. I was cautious and very realistic about what I could achieve. I know my problem is mostly genetic with some lifestyle effects.

I also make sure to visit a qualified, reputable clinic/injector for any of these treatments. I follow the list of finalists for social locations and I am actively involved with them.

My first treatment will actually be coming soon, and I will share this with you soon. I’ve also taken lots of photos to help me track my progress. Below baseline photos, I can see these photos and say that the C Tango Eye Cream was a great help in my dark circles!

ps-I will give a full review for all the eye creams in the photos!

If you have similar issues as mine or are interested in eye treatment, I hope this series will help! When I’m looking for these treatments, I’m always looking for what dark skin treatments look like, as I want to see what bruising/downtime and more will look like in Skinton. In particular, laser treatment requires a specific laser in the skinton.

I’m excited and nervous!

Get you right away!
