Jeffrey J. Kripal chaired J. Newton Razer’s philosophy and religious thought at Rice University, where he served as Associate Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and chaired the Faculty of Religion for eight years, creating a doctoral degree in the study of mysticism, mysticism, the world’s largest program. He currently helps direct the Theory and Research Center at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California.
Jeff is the author or co-author of 13 books and specializes in studying extreme religious states and bringing the “impossible” back to “impossible.” He is currently working on three volumes of research into the flow of paranormal phenomena in the history of religion and science, collectively entitled Super Story.
