Crispy and delicious. My secret of the best wings? baking powder! Let’s make chicken wings that are crispy in the oven!

Materials of Thai wings

Chicken wings -Ideally, we are looking for chicken wings of almost the same size so that they can be burned evenly. Dry the wings to prevent crisp chicken wings even if you add moisture. Olive oil -Avocado oil also works well. Baking powder -It seems strange, but this is actually useful for wings crispy. Garlic powder -flavor. Salt +pepper -I suggested the amount, but please decrease or increase freely based on taste and sodium preference! Options: Cuffian lime leaves -Completely optional, but I love the flavors to be added. Purchase the caffia lime leaves online and ground with a coffee grinder. Sweet chili sauce -Most of the grocery stores you can find this, but if you are struggling to find it, you can usually get it at an Asian -specific grocery store. It may be listed as “Sambaluo Erek”. Honey -for sweetness. You can also use maple syrup or brown sugar. In the case of soy sauce -Gluten -free, please feel free to replace Tamari. Fish Sauce -This adds the flavor of Umami, but you can skip if you don’t like the fish sauce. Lime -skin and juice -add that nice Thai Zing for sourness. Always use fresh lime skin and juice! If you can’t find Thai Vasil -Tai Bazil, you can use a normal basil.

Recipe hints

Use the baking powder to apply the wings before baking. Baking powder helps to decompose chicken skin proteins by raising the PH level.
