My simple chocolate pecan pie is good enough to get when it comes to healthy holiday desserts.

I worked on this low-carb pyre recipe for years and completed it in 2013.

Low carb pecan pie

This chocolate pecan pie is not as low-carb as some of my other recipes.

However, when compared to traditional chocolate pecan pie, you certainly get a low carb bill.

The dessert is made with sugar and milk chocolate in addition to a cup of corn syrup.

Elana, where is the inspiration for recipes?

I use this chocolate pecan pie recipe to be based on the recipe of my dear friend Karin, the founder of Sweet Mary Jane.

I researched her recipes and made some changes to make sure it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and low carbs. This is a great result.

When I first shared this kid-friendly chocolate pecan pie recipe in 2013, the boys were in 8th and 9th grade.

They sampled and criticized this healthy dessert recipe. The boys and their friends were pleased to be my testers for the batch after the batch.

In fact, I remember they were sleeping out at the time.

They all sinned the next day, looking like adorable sheep.

Little did they know they were eating healthy, low-carb desserts filled with good fats from nut frust crust and pecans, as well as high amounts of oxidants with antioxidants from organic dark chocolate.

This chocolate pecan pie recipe fills with only five ingredients and can be whipped with Jiffy. We were in the pie stage recently.
