Review of 2024 and goals for 2025

Review of 2024 and goals for 2025

I’d like to share a quick summary of this year and what I’m working on for 2025.

Hello friends! Happy NY! Do you have any plans tonight? We eat Indian food and set off fireworks in our pajamas. I’m really glad I didn’t have any strange plans (lol). I’m looking forward to going hiking with my family in the morning because it’s an early night.

This is funny because I thought my last year as a military pilot would be the longest year of my life. I thought it would be painfully slow to get to the finish line. The reality is, this year has flown by. I can’t believe he’s got things under control, changed command, and is preparing for his retirement ceremony later this month. Many big changes await.

This year has been filled with great travel, fun times with the kids (they’re growing up too fast, Liv turns 13 next week!!!), time with friends, events, family time at home, and nature. It’s been a great year for my time and my healing journey. Last year, I celebrated a year of being symptom-free from my eye problems and autoimmune symptoms, but I’ve gotten serious about my daily routine and am feeling the best I’ve felt in years (decades??). I am very grateful for the year. I created a free e-book here about my autoimmune journey and what has helped me, so please check it out.

The pilot also shaved his mustache 😉

Professional summary:

From an integrative health practitioner perspective, this year has been full of learning, expansion, and client success. I was very surprised to see them win. I have reviewed over 100 clinical tests this year. I won EquiLife’s 100 Day Challenge in October (7th place! Wow!) and was the winner of the Top 5 IHP Champion last spring. I was also invited to be part of the Centurion program, where I trained for three months with 15 other IHP and EquiLife faculty to take laboratory analysis to the next level. From there, I was able to start reading EquiLife’s client labs in addition to my own.

I feel so blessed every day to be a part of this company with such a great mission and inspiring people behind it. I can’t wait to see what IHP has in store for us next year!!

It seems superstitious to say this, but this blog had its best year in ad revenue in at least the past five years. My SEO team has been working hard behind the scenes, and we’re really starting to see the fruits of our labor. It’s still my goal to publish fun and personal posts (the type of posts I want to read) in addition to SEO-driven and informative content. Because that’s what drives new readers to your blog.

The podcast has continued to do well, but one of my goals is to put more energy into the pod, publish more episodes, and grow in the new year. Another goal is to post more on LTK because I love sharing outfit and gift ideas.

In terms of sponsorship, I worked with one company this year that I respect and love, NOW Foods. We are very grateful for their continued partnership and that they will continue to work with us in 2025. I receive sponsorship offers every day, but I turn them down almost all of them because they don’t align with my values or are for companies or products I can’t sell. Products you don’t use or like. I will never promote a company on my blog that I don’t 100% love and support.

We also want to thank our affiliate partners, including Nutrisense, EquiLife, IHP, Sakara, HigherDOSE, Danger Coffee, Organifi, OneSkin, ButcherBox, Aviron, Canopy, Somavedic, Air Doctor, Vivarays, Pvolve, and everyone who shops with us. I’m doing it. my link. It directly supports our family (and helps us keep this little blog running) and we are so grateful. I also started working with Oliveda and Lifewave this year. These are two companies I’m really looking forward to!

This month was my last month of Fit Team workouts as I am designing my new signature program. This is a 6-month program that includes functional testing, supplements and protocols, and personalized recommendations to help you feel your absolute best. This is basically the culmination of everything I have learned and utilized with my own clients and myself to dramatically transform their health and energy levels. I can’t wait to share it with you in early February!

Personal and health goals:

My health goals are to continue working on the habits that make me feel my best, such as quarterly detoxes, smart supplements, recovery techniques, nutrition, walks, and workouts (I do strength training, bar training, etc.) , spin, Pilates, hot yoga), and stress management. My goal is to minimize toxins as much as possible, replenish deficiencies, and continue to use functional testing as a great tool. I’m proud to have taken charge of my health, gotten to the root cause of what I was experiencing, and to share everything I learned along the way.

Keep practicing your Spanish! This year I started working with an Italki tutor to hone my skills. I’m going back to Spain this year, so I want to be more confident in my Spanish. (I’m a Spanish major and can completely understand, but I’m not 100% confident in speaking.)

Let’s get back to studying the Bible. After dropping out in the spring. I had just started working with an EquiLife client and was very excited to make as many calls as possible. Now that I know how I can make the platform work a little better and block out my Bible study time, I want to make it a priority again.

Please continue to be the best mother, wife, and friend I can be. I want the people in my life to know how much I love them and to live each day with gratitude, patience, and a loving heart. Some days are harder than others (lol), but gratitude in the morning has a huge impact on how I feel for the rest of the day.

I’d love to hear about your goals and objectives for this year! What are you proud of over the past year? What are you currently working on? Do you have any health goals? Any travel plans? I want to hear everything!

I hope you have a happy and wonderful new year. See you again soon!
