Serena Williams opens about using GLP-1 to support postnatal postnatal support after weight loss

Serena Williams is the latest celebrity to reveal that she is using GLP-1 to support her weight loss journey. The tennis star, who has won multiple Grand Slam and Olympic gold medals, recently shared that he teamed up with telehealth company RO as both a patient and an ambassador.

Williams revealed that she is struggling to lose weight after pregnancy. After getting frustrated by the stagnation, Williams turned to offering RO and GLP-1.

“It was the best thing I did for my body for a very long time. My weight slowly started to fall off, and I really felt like my body had the support I needed,” Williams said in the video. According to Williams, he hopes to help normalize the use of medicines and conversations surrounding GLP-1 after losing 31 pounds.

“I trained at the highest level, ate a clean meal, pushed myself, and yet after giving birth to a child, my body realized that it wasn’t about the will. It was biological. My body needed GLP-1 and clinical support,” says Williams. “I’m partnering with RO because I know that when you need help as a top athlete doing everything at level 10, others struggle too.
