You’ll love everything about it when you order online and it arrives. This blog post here is one of those moments. To be honest, I spent hours on the NET-A-PORTER website* creating three outfits that I felt really drawn to. It featured a large amount of knitwear, which I think will come in very handy when the cold weather starts to set in. All of that. It’s hard to choose a favorite out of the three, but there is one that stands out the most. And if you’re just window shopping right now, we’ve added some outfit formulas you can add to your notes for the next time you’re standing in front of your wardrobe and don’t know where to start. Here are some ideas…

Outfit 1
What could be more comfortable than a knit, on a knit, or a knit?! We’re talking about a knit tank top + knit pants + cashmere jumper + cashmere jacket + Mary Jane. Nothing could be more cozy than this. When I wore this, it felt like the perfect weekend outfit for a quick brunch or hanging out with friends. So comfortable, yet so chic. Adding a structured jacket and shoes here takes it to the next level. This is my first time trying NET-A-PORTER’s new brand, Guest in Residence, and I currently have both items in my basket, so yes, I’m a fan! The oversized cashmere jumper* feels like real butter, and the topstitched cashmere jacket* is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Half cardigans, half jackets, and layering pieces that I think will be very useful during the winter. All beautifully crafted from 100% cashmere.

For example, let’s say some days you feel a little “here, there, everywhere.” This is the method I recommend. For me, that day is the day of the conference in London. It’s a short walk to the train, but before you know it, you’re in a tropical climate, also known as underground. In fact, since I spend all day only between subways and meeting places, I hardly ever walk outside, and I usually walk with a lot of force to get from place to place. I get it – I’m warm! It’s not a problem to carry all the extra layers with you when peeling. On such days, we recommend a sleeveless knit + medium-weight coat + straight jeans + pointed boots. Your arms are covered, but you can cool down without melting once you reach your destination. I would like to talk about AGOLDE 90’s Pinch Waist Long Jeans*. It’s a great length to match with boots, and has a KHAITE Danielle Jean* vibe, but I personally think AGOLDE is more comfortable. Speaking of comfort, the Toteme Mid Heel Boot*?! I walked 20,000 steps in these shoes in New York, and even though I was so motivated to take them off at the end of the day, I still didn’t notice any blisters. they are very good.

costume 3
This might be my favorite of the three, it really is a do-everything outfit. Wide-leg jeans and pointed boots are a very classy silhouette, and the roll neck plays a practical role in keeping you comfortable. Chunky roll neck + belt + wide-leg jeans + pointy boots – this is a formula you can add to your repertoire in no time. I was looking for a turn-up jean that would fit my 5’7” frame and these are it. The AGOLDE Dame jeans* are high in the waist and just the right length without being baggy in the back. Depending on where you want it to fit on your hips, we recommend going 1-2 sizes smaller than usual (1 size down for a low-rise fit, 2 sizes down if you have a high waist). And may I take a moment to talk about the Toteme T-Lock Bag*? It’s so easy to slip into all the outfits I’ve put together for this, and it’s actually good enough for everyday use without being really unwieldy. It’s a big size. I’m very, very hesitant about purchasing.
