True Health Disorders: Scientific Consensus on Healthy Diet

True Health Disorders: Scientific Consensus on Healthy Diet

The major risk factor for death in the United States is the American diet.

About a decade ago, the American Heart Association (AHA) expressed concern that “if the current trend continues, we will not be able to reach our 2020 target of improving cardiovascular health by 20% by 2020.” By 2006, most people were already not smoking and almost met their exercise goals. However, when it comes to healthy diet scores, my video only got 4-5% of the diet quality scores from 0-5 at 0:35, my favorite on Friday, at 0:35, and at 0:35, the scientific consensus on healthy diets. And it has “ideal” standards, such as drinking 4.5 cups of soda a week.

Over the past decade, AHA has seen around 1% of Americans reach such basic standards for the prevalence of ideal healthy diet scores, but considering their “active” goal of reaching the “20% target” by 2020, they wanted to change 1% to about 1.2%. (Really, at 1:01 in my video, as you can see here.)

So, what did we do? According to the 2019 update, we seem to be sliding down about one in a thousand, with American teens gaining huge fat zero. Perhaps “For all mortality-based indicators, the US rank has fallen on the 27th or 28th of 34 OECD (industrialized) countries. For example, Slovenia beats the US and ranks 24th in life expectancy. Recently, the US life expectancy has slipped further, becoming 43rd in the world, but the US spent the most ($3.0 trillion) on healthcare…”

What are the major risk factors for death in the United States? In my video, it’s a standard American meal as seen below and at 2:04. Trillions of healthcare costs do not address the root causes of illness, disability and death.

Below 2:08 in my video, some of the curves of lung cancer death are shown below.

It took me decades to finally turn the corner, but I’m so happy to see those drops in the end. Can you see the same thing on dieting?

“About 80% of chronic illnesses and early deaths can be prevented by not smoking, being physically active and following healthy eating patterns.” What does “healthy eating” mean? “Unfortunately, media messages surrounding nutrition are often inconsistent, confused, and do not allow the public to bring about positive changes in health behavior. And there are incentives to sell more magazines and newspapers. The paper I am cited was written in 1997 before the seduction of the ClickBait headline. In fact, about a quarter of a century ago, it is unfortunate that the subject of nutrition appears to have a special appeal to a credible and social enthusiast.

In fact, the most important health care problem we face may be “our poor lifestyle choices based on misinformation.” It’s like a climate change denier. “It’s similar to denial of climate change, affecting public opinion, affecting healthy lifestyle and diet advice, covering media critics, diet books, food industry and misinformation.” You may need entities like the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), but nutrition is necessary.

Recently, “No matter your academic height or reputation, a single expert is not a prominent one to overcome the obstacles that have arisen by disrupting media messages and effectively providing the basic principles of healthy living to the public.”

“What if a global coalition of various nutrition experts collectively expressing the views held by the majority of scientists, physicians and health practitioners “supports as a guideline for healthy nutrition information for health and disease health and prevention”?

Join us in a true health initiative “devised for that very purpose.” A nonprofit coalition of hundreds of experts from dozens of countries has agreed to a consensus statement on the fundamentals of healthy living. See www.truehealthinitiative.org.

Spoiler alert: The healthiest diets are generally made up of minimally processed plants.
