When Datamachine Spate released its Q4 TikTok consumer trend highlights earlier this week, there was one very creative and beautiful move that made the list. The term “egg white facial” took the top spot, showing +1.5 million percent quarter-over-quarter growth.

After seeing this statistic, I called New York esthetician Taylor Warden to see if any of her clients were asking her for it. And while the term isn’t something people would name and request, she told me she’s a big fan of doing the at-home version.

What is “Egg White Facial”?

“Skin1004’s Zombie Pack Mask ($25) is an egg white facial that’s great as a temporary mask. It can be done at home and has many benefits for your skin,” Worden says. “It’s rich in albumin, a protein derived from egg whites. Mix the active agent with the powder, mix, and apply to your face and neck in upward strokes. Within minutes, the mask dries and leaves your skin feeling very firm. I feel like I can barely move my face.”

Although Worden said the masks are “a little scary and looks zombie-like,” she believes the product’s effectiveness is justified. “Leave it on for about 15 minutes and wash off with water. This mask will brighten your skin, remove dead skin cells, adjust pore size, tighten, brighten, soften, moisturize and tighten your skin. , and lifts. I also like that it can be used on most skin types.”

In addition to albumin, the mask contains aloe vera, allantoin, lavender oil, centella asiatica, sea buckthorn extract, birch extract, adenosine, and rose of Jericho extract.

Another benefit, Worden says, is that it’s “affordable, comes in a pack of four, and you can order it on Amazon.”

“These masks work wonders when combined with proper skin care,” says one satisfied reviewer. “My skin feels taught, hydrated, and smooth.”

Although it’s not mentioned on the box, Warden also recommends this mask for its full-body benefits. “I do it on my chest, stomach and above my knees. It really helps tighten and lift my skin before an event.”
