It’s that time of year again! Credo Beauty official sale with 20% off on the best clean beauty brands!
So I had to stop by and share the best clean beauty brands and clean beauty products so you can stock up on the best clean beauty this year. The time is now, as it ends this Tuesday, October 29th at midnight. Free shipping too!
What is Credo Beauty?
I’ve been obsessed with Credo Beauty since living in San Francisco, but I seem to forget that not everyone knows what Credo Beauty is. Credo is a marketplace where you can buy clean beauty brands and products. It’s similar to Sephora, but only carries clean beauty. This means that you can be sure that what you buy there is free of harmful ingredients.
We have several locations around the country (including San Francisco), but we also ship nationwide, so don’t worry if you don’t have a store near you.
Once a year, we have a 20% off sale on all items! I always take it as an opportunity to stock up on clean beauty products and my favorite brands. If you want to try new products or switch to clean beauty, now is the time to buy.
Clean beauty products to stock up on
I’m always on the lookout for new clean beauty products to try (whether they’re made by Credo or not), but every year when Credo announces their annual sale, I take it as an opportunity to stock up on my favorite products .
ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint – This is liquid gold. The perfect tinted SPF provides an excellent moisture barrier during the cold winter months.
Kosas Airbrow – My makeup routine is pretty minimal these days thanks to Babe, so combining brow gel and tint in one is key. I’m using medium brown.
Tower28 Make Waves Mascara – I love ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara, but I recently started using Tower28’s Make Waves Mascara. Honestly, this is incredible. No peeling!
Evolve Gentle Cleansing Melt – Of all the cleansing balms I use (and there are many!), this is my favorite. I think the price is a little reasonable compared to other brands.
Evolve Hyaluronic Serum – I had to replace my beloved Marie Veronique retinol serum since I found out I was pregnant (and breastfeeding), but I absolutely love this hyaluronic acid serum and my skin loves it too! I am.
Evolve Multi Peptide 360 Moisture Cream – I fell in love with this brand last winter when my skin was dry from the harsh Minnesota weather. Now I can’t live without it.
Evolve Bio-Retinol Gold Mask – Obviously I’m obsessed with Evolve Skincare. This is the only face mask I’ve been using lately.
True Botanicals Calm Ginger Turmeric Cleansing Balm – Probably my favorite product in this line. I love a good cleansing balm and this one is really great (I like to top it off with Evolve Cleansing Melt). It smells amazing and removes all my makeup in one go.
True Botanicals Chebula Serum – I absolutely love this serum. I sometimes mix Pure Radiance Oil with a vitamin C booster before applying it. I’m not sure if there’s a huge difference compared to other serums I’ve used, but considering I haven’t used retinol in over 18 months and my skin is blemish-free, retinol I want to believe that there is something effective about using this serum.
True Botanicals Renew Pure Radiance Oil – A facial oil that works wonders. It penetrates quickly so it doesn’t leave a sticky feeling. You may want to add a cream on top (or before) if your skin feels particularly dry at night, but I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight oil.
Goop G.Tox Scalp Scrub – I wanted to hate this (because Goop…and it’s expensive), but this is good! If you tend to build up a lot of product in your hair, this scalp scrub is a godsend.
Lolavie Intensive Repair Hair Mask – My go-to hair mask these days. It’s very restorative and keeps your hair soft, especially after a harsh winter.
OSEA Undaria Body Oil – This is my new favorite body oil. I apply it every night after taking a bath.
best clean beauty brands
“What are the best clean beauty brands on the market?” We get asked this question a lot, and we wish we had a solid answer for you. As with traditional beauty, there are so many clean beauty brands out there, each with their own philosophy, product range and benefits. This number is increasing day by day.
This list is by no means exhaustive, but we hope it’s a good starting point for finding the best clean beauty brands to try.
Makeup brand:
Tower28 – The lip gloss is amazing and the cream blush and bronzer are second to none.
Kosas – They make both makeup and body/skin care. I’m personally a fan of their makeup, the eyebrow gel, lip balm, and setting powder are amazing.
Han Skincare + Cosmetics – Han Skincare and Cosmetics makes great pressed products at affordable prices. Their product range is small but the products they have are great. I especially love the bronzer and blush.
ILIA – I have a love-hate relationship (mostly love!) with ILIA. The products they specialize in are some of the best on the market (lipstick, mascara, blush), but there are some products that aren’t my favorites. Luckily, they are great with feedback on their products and usually come back with even better formulations.
RMS – The OG of the makeup industry, RMS has been around for a while and is definitely making its mark. I think of this as a clean beauty gloss. If you’re looking for an effortless no-makeup look, you’ll love RMS.
Skin care brand:
True Botanicals – I did a skincare review and really enjoyed many of their products. You’ll notice some of them in my clean beauty products.
Evolve Organic Beauty – I obviously love everything about Evolve as I have 4 products on my repurchase list. I think this brand is effective and doesn’t cost a fortune. If you’re interested in Clean Beauty, this is a great place to start.
Indie Lee – I truly believe that Indie Lee is one of the best people for the money. Their products are high quality but don’t cost a fortune. Their squalane oil is a great starter oil for anyone who likes to moisturize with oil.
Marie Veronique – Expensive but worth every penny. Marie Veronique products combine natural and synthetic ingredients that are safe and highly effective for your body. I’m especially impressed with the amazing serum and the particularly gentle retinol.
Tata Harper – The OG of clean beauty, Tata Harper has been around for a long time and its customers are loyal. Full transparency: Even I think their products are very expensive, so I don’t actually use them. I’d love to try more of their product line, but even at 20% off, it’s hard to justify even though the people who love it love it.
*Note: This list only includes clean beauty brands sold on Credo. That’s because it’s a 20% off sale. If you want to know more about the products I love, check out Green Beauty Shop where I handpick all of my favorite products.
Happy shopping!
