Kylie Jenner is making a case for soft square nails for summer 2026, courtesy of her longtime manicurist Zora Ganzolito. Her Instagram feed is filled with client manicures, a reliable preview of trends that are about to become mainstream.

In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, July 14, Ganzoligt (also known as @nailsbyzola) shows Jenner wearing a silver bikini and running her hands through her long brown hair as she grabs attention with her bright red manicure.

“Is this a soft square? I heard it’s popular right now,” one of Ganzolito’s followers commented, to which Ganzolito replied, “That’s right!” The nail shape is exactly what it sounds like: a square silhouette with gently rounded corners, without the traditional sharp square edges.

Ganzolito and Jenner aren’t the only ones supporting a widespread square nail revival. “Short, crisp squares remain one of the most requested options because they’re practical, clean, and work beautifully for everyday wear,” nail artist Svitlana Motil told NewBeauty while talking about nail trends for August 2026.

Red polish is equally timely. Marina Slinko, a nail expert in Overland Park, Kansas, also predicted that classic shades would do well in late summer. “Warm red remains a timeless classic, but in August it becomes the perfect transitional shade between summer and fall,” says Slinko. “It adds confidence, femininity, and elegance while remaining appropriate for all seasons.”
