What is the scholarship program?
At the Center for Mindfulness Research, we are on a mission to make mental health care accessible to all. We believe in the fundamental principle that everyone should have equal access to the resources they need to live a fulfilling life.
In line with this belief, our scholarship program is designed to break down barriers and ensure that mindfulness-based mental health programs are within everyone’s reach.
Who benefits?
The Center welcomes:
Individuals currently experiencing economic hardship Individuals who are part of underserved populations (e.g., Indigenous, BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, people with disabilities, newcomers) and currently experiencing economic hardship Ontario residents only
We understand that mental health is a universal need, and our scholarship programs are tailored to address the diverse challenges faced by different communities.
Ease of approval
We recognize the importance of making mental health care accessible without unnecessary hurdles and have streamlined the approval process for our scholarship programs. We want to make it easy for individuals to access the support they need.
Ontario residents who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for financial aid by filling out a simple form.
Once approved, eligible applicants will be notified and added to their desired program. Or, if the program is full, you will be added to the waiting list.
