Halloween stuffed peppers | Photo Ketohana recipe

Made with beef, seasonal vegetables, and all the right herbs and spices, these stuffed peppers are the perfect Halloween treat. Plus, you can top it with pumpkin spice granola for a spooky crunch.

4-5 green peppers (mixed colors)
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 onion (chopped)
2 cloves of garlic
2 stalks of celery (chopped)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 can cut tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon chopped rosemary

How to make meat stuffed peppers for Halloween

Preheat the oven to 180℃. Cut off the top of each pepper (and set aside). Remove and discard the core and seeds. Use a sharp paring knife to carve a jack-o-lantern face into each pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large nonstick frying pan. Cook until onions are soft, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute more. Add the beef and cook, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon, until the meat loses its color. . Bake for 30 minutes.
Add the chopped tomatoes and herbs and bring to a boil until fully cooked. Add the ketohana granola and mix everything well.
Divide the mixture between the hollowed out peppers and bake for 30 minutes.
