Hello everyone, I hope everything is going well. Naturium has been the talk of the skincare world ever since the launch of the body wash. Today, I would like to talk about the company’s facial cleansers, specifically the Niacinamide Cleansing Gelée.
I got this cleanser in the 2025 SpaceNK Beauty Advent Calendar and am just about to finish using it. I started using it in March. By the way, I can’t wait to see the 2026 beauty calendar lineup!

This cleanser has many benefits and contains many active ingredients. Containing 3% niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, and vitamin C derivatives, it promises to keep your skin fresh, clean, and balanced. It can also be used as a face mask! The texture is beautiful, has a jelly-like consistency, doesn’t lather well, and rinses off well. It has no scent and is not irritating.
I’ve been using this cleanser for a while, and first started using it as a second cleanser after removing my makeup, but for the past month or so, I’ve been using it as a makeup remover as well. It’s ok as a makeup remover, I’m still not used to using a face wash for this step, but it’s effective at removing makeup, mascara, and even eyelash glue. It can also be used as a face wash. With this cleanser, I feel like I need to wash longer to get proper deep cleansing.
I was a little disappointed with this cleanser as I was hoping it would help with the whiteheads around my pores and nose due to the addition of niacyamide, but I didn’t notice any difference. Also, the cleanser tends to dry out and clog the pump (see photo). I feel a little bad (lol). I didn’t know it could be used as a face mask until preparing this review. I used it as is probably a couple of times before I finished it, but not enough to comment on its benefits as a face mask
verdict
Bittersweet: This is an okay cleanser. It removes makeup, cleanses my face, doesn’t dry out my skin, but it didn’t wow me either. The full size is 210ml, but it also comes in a 59ml travel size, perfect for trying it out before paying £18.50. Partly I don’t buy this because I don’t like spending over £6 on a face wash (why waste it! haha), but now that I’ve used it I don’t really like it so I bought it again. I wish the package had written that it could be used as a face mask, but I didn’t know that until the end (lol)
Naturium is becoming a hit or miss brand for me and I was so excited to finally have it in the UK, I’ve tried a few products and there’s only one item I keep buying again. It’s a vitamin C serum. The (intentional) product addict in me will always give them a chance (be careful!) but!
