Here’s another recent post.
If you’re looking for a new pair of summer sunglasses, shop at Kohv. We’re running a standing promotion for Kath Eats readers to get 15% off with code KATHEATS15. I love the new rose gold shade!
July 4th was the best!
An explosion means that lightning struck and rained down on the surrounding area. What a shame! There was a big block party going on in my neighborhood, and because of the weather, I had to run through the rain with my dishes, grab a plate of food under a tent, eat it quickly, and then dash back to my house. I’m announcing a redo!

The best news was that the rain stopped due to the fireworks, so we had the best view ever from the deck. I had my mother’s book, so I was reading it while listening to “A the B.”

I invited some friends and we all had a good time toasting.

Some of my neighbors had this glitter stick for the World Cup games, so naturally I had to get one too.

I also did some station training at the gym, which was a great start to my holiday. Afterwards, they handed out popsicles, which was very refreshing!

Grammy + Peacamp
The boys had a great time at Grammy + Pea Camp, a summer tradition they look forward to all year long. On this visit, they built the new Hogwarts Lego, went canoeing at Merchants Mill Pond in Eastern, North Carolina, and spent two nights in Virginia Beach. Here are some photos of them!

home alone
I was a bit productive while they were away, but I also spent some time learning Puerto Rican dance and taking up Simply Piano. Additionally, place the last piece of furniture in place.

The buffet is also extensive! Next is the sofa.

I also met Haley, a blog reader who was visiting Seaville on a solo trip. Haley is also a nutritionist and wrote a guest post for me in 2014. She’s been reading this blog since 2009, so of course I had to meet her IRL. It’s been about 20 years since then!

Cass eats alone
I got a Blue Apron box for my solo week. It’s nice to be able to order from a box as soon as I feel like it. Not having to worry about subscriptions is a game changer.

obvious autumn
I bought this cereal at Wegmans. Cool weather has arrived! I don’t want summer to go away, but it’s so bad it’s over 100 degrees.

nectarine
But until fall comes, I will eat all the nectarines!

The Boys A Back In Town
I picked up the boys in Richmond on Friday. They soon established a new Hogwarts.

And we had lots of fun riding scooters around the neighborhood (and some of us did wheelies).

Have a wonderful weekend!
